Jim Johnson Dies, Young

Too many famous people died in 2009. Some of them are my favorites and have great impact on my life, such as Michael Jackson. I can not be counted as a football fan, but Jim Johnson’s death still catches my attention.
His attacking defenses helped the Eagles to one Super Bowl appearance and five NFC title games. And he dies at only 68, and too young, I think.
One of my friends told me that athletes often won’t live a long time, because their energy has been spent in advance. From then on, I feel sad about them even they sometimes are very prosperous.
Johnson was considered one of the top defensive minds in the league, known for complex schemes that confused opponents and pressured the quarterback from every angle. His defenses consistently ranked among the best in the league, including last season, when the Eagles finished third in total defense and fell one victory short of the Super Bowl.
It seems to me the victory Eagles depends largely on how Jim Johnson guided. I believe his death will be a big loss to Eagles.
As a man who is much younger than my grandpa who is 87 years old, I really think he dies too young. Not this time, not this year, not for Eagles.
